- 12 Days Tours with Short Hiking Trek to Ghandruk and Poonhill
- Trek leaders are given complete authority to handle the group and run the program smoothly. Hence, all the paper works are to be completed prior to trek in Kathmandu in presence of trek leader and the participant will be legally binded with our operation rules.
- Insurance is compulsory for all our trek and tours programs.
- All the safety measures are implemented in proper orders and with regular updates to clients
- Emergency Rescue team are standby 24/7 during the trek. Evacuation will be implemented anytime studying the case completely.

Our representative welcomes you at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu with the company logo displayed on handheld signage board outside the Airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your hotels on our private vehicle.
Note: Pre-trip meeting will be held at our office or at your hotel on the same day. In this meeting, you are requested to bring your passport, 3 passport-sized photographs and a readable copy of your travel insurance, transcript in English language. Also, most importantly, you must sign a legally binding trip form, and a non–liability disclaimer. In this meeting, you are also requested to ask any questions regarding your trip and other information’s that are in doubts. Also, in this meeting, we discuss about different aspect of trips, information about country, culture norms and values, money matter, eating and dining.
At 6.00 am our trip will start from Kantipath to catch either a Chitwan or Pokhara bound tourist bus that will take us 2 ½ hours to our rafting starting point. Arrival upon Rafting point, we will have cup of tea in sunshine until rafting team sets the gear and raft. Once the rafts are ready you will be given your equipment( paddle top, life jacket and paddle) and a detailed safety and paddle talk. Then it is onto the river, bit of practise and we are set for raft. After 3 hours rafting we will stop for lunch on a nice sandy beach and rest for a while. Again we set for another half rafting till we reach our camping site near Kuringhat. Our guide will set camp and preparations for BBQ night till you change into your dry clothes. Overnight in Riverside Camp.
Not such early morning, you will be given wakeup call around 8.00 am so that you can be ready for breakfast at 8.30am. We aim to be on river between 9- 9.30 am and raft for another 3 hours including lunch. Reaching upon Gaighat, you get changed ready to meet transport to Pokhara. Enjoy the scenic view to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Breakfast and we will drive for about 4.5 hr/ 120 Km. this drive offers you the best view of Annapurna Himalayan range with terraced landscapes and villages and then descending towards Nayapul. From this point our trek begins which weather is a warm subtropical region. The walk follows the Modi River upstream to Birethanti & follows the east bank of Bhurungdi Khola with scenery of waterfalls, high green forest and follows the picturesque trails and finally reaches to tikhedhunga. Lunch will be done during the route. After lunch we path ascends steeply trail for couple of hours to Ulleri village with the scenery of terrace landscape and Annapurna Himalaya. From here the path is more gradual uphill on the winding trail through the cool shade of forest, the walk continues mostly uphill, in the midst of the giant rhododendron forest and you finally reach Ghorepani Deurali. Ghorepani is a busy spot on the ridge in the midst of the beautiful rhododendron forest, offering grand views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range to the north and west. Overnight at Ghorepani.
Today your guide will set alarm for early morning for a 40 minute hike up to Poon hill with the help of flash-light or moon light offering morning glimpse of stars and walking through the Rhododendron forest. Poon hill is named after the hill tribe Pun, inhabitants of Ghorepani and the surrounding area. It is also an Advantage spot for the most panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish Tail), Hiunchuli, Manaslu and Lamjung etc. Nearly 600 km range of mountains can be viewed from this great spot with the spectacular sunrise on the mid-western Himalaya range. After a great time spent at pun hill, we then return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek to Tadapani, we climb along ridges and through pine and through the refreshing forests trails to Deurali (2960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turning off to Tadapani. This is a wonderful place with close view of the Annapurna sought and Fishtail Mountains, situated in the midst of the rain and alpine mixed forest. Overnight at Tadhpani.
After Breakfast our trail gently descends through a subtropical forest highlighted by huge bamboo and rhododendron forest . Ghandrung is the main village of the Gurung tribe, warriors known for their contribution to the famous Gurkha regiment.The majority of the people in Ghandrung village are Buddhist. The economy of majority of population is derived from recruitment in British Army, and others working in tourism related industry with establishment of local hotels and lodges and few as a farmers.The main crops are Maize, Wheat, Millet and Potatoes. You can see the magnificent mountain views of Annapurna South, Fishtail, Hiunchuli and Gangapurna. Today you will have very short period at the end compared to last few days make most out from the time left and look around the village, we encourage you to make some friends and gain an overview knowledge about the villagers their culture and lifestyle. Overnight in Ghandruk.
After breakfast our trek descent down through different village to the Syauli Bazar. It is situated at the side of the river ( known as Modi Khola) which comes from the holy mountain Fishtail, famous for freshwater fishing amongst the local people. After Syauli Bazar we can walk towards Birethanti where we register for our trekking permit. After 20 min more walk to nayapul we transfer back to pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
A free day left to explore a Beautiful City after the Short Hiking Trek. Today you can make plan for yourself. Consult with your Guide or Service Desk Officer at your Hotel (TAN Staff) what activities you may like to do.

Overnight in Pokhara.
After Breakfast, we will drive to Chitwan. Lunch is Served in Chitwan Resort Hotel. After Lunch one of the Guide from Resort will Brief the upcoming Activities that is waiting for you at Chitwan. Sightseeing around the Tharu Village (The Ethnic Tribe of Chitwan) and Sunset View from the Bank of Rapti River. In the early evening the local Tharu dance troupe may perform a cultural program. You will then enjoy dinner then you will be free to relax and get your favourite drink from the bar and discuss the sightings of the day or listen to the exotic sounds of the jungle at night. Overnight in Chitwan.
Embark on an Early-Morning Excursion. The Day start with Dugout Canoe in Rapti River. This Trip will allow you to encounter with Marsh Mugger Crocodile and Ghariyal Crocodile with lots of native Birds. If lucky then you will be Fascinated with the Beauty of Giant One Horn Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger basking in Riverbanks. After Canoe, Short Nature Walk is done which lead us to Elephant Breeding Centre which is our Trip completion Point. Here you will be mesmerized by the Beauty of Baby Elephant Playing around with its mother. Back to Resort and Lunch is served. Jeep Safari is organised for the rest of your day after Lunch. Nepal has completely banned the Elephant Back Safari Activity as we respect the Animals Right and we take pride on acknowledging the importance of respecting fellow living beings. Back to Resort and Free Evening Time. Overnight in Chitwan.
After Breakfast you will be transferred back to Kathmandu on Tourist Bus. Pick up is arranged for you from Station to Hotel. Tonight, we will be gathering together for farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
It wouldn’t be easy to bid you a farewell, but as it is said, we part to meet again. We will be bidding you a goodbye with a heavy heart, hoping that you would choose us again to create memories of a lifetime for the next trip.
